Middle School Program
Matches Achieving Growth, Inspiring Change
The middle school program, or MAGIC (Matches Achieving Growth, Inspiring Change) matches youth in grades 6th-8th with community adults age 18+ in a one-to-one relationship. Mentors meet with their Littles for 1½ hours each week at a set location. The focus is on building a friendship. Time together includes fun time for games, crafts, or sports as well as academic time. The site is supervised by trained BBBS staff and materials are provided for activities. Regular Match Support is provided by the Match Support Specialist based on the needs of the particular match.
